Incident Date: 07/25/2013
Synopsis of Incident:
A lightning strike occurred on or near the roof of the Tempe Tower
building. This caused an activation of the fire suppressant system on the fifth
floor. The building was safely evacuated. Tempe Fire Department responded. They
discovered no fire and provided an "all clear" to return to normal operations.
