Known non-electrical vehicle parked in the "Blink" electrical vehicle parking only (posted).  While parking there this vehicle intentionally damaged the casing of the Blink system, located on the wall of the first level of the parking structure.

An associate of a known student entered the Bookstore.  While inside of the Bookstore, the associate of the student removed two textbooks from the shelves, placing same inside of his backpack, left the location.  Value: approximate $200.00.  GateWay Community College experienced an attempt to sell the textbooks to their Bookstore.

Synopsis of Incident

Prospective student was advised that he did not qualify for financial aid.  At this time prospective student became upset.  Clarification was given to prospective student, at which time, he refused to acknowledge information.  Prospective student spoke with administrator.  While receiving the information, the prospective student became angry and began to display unacceptable behavior, while being verbally abusive (profanity and name calling) towards employees.  A short time later the prospective student left the building and property.

Synopsis of Incident

While student's vehicle was parked in the college parking lot, unknown person(s) entered the vehicle and took without permission, the student's laptop.  The student was unable to provide additional information regarding the description of the laptop.  Student further stated that the vehicle was locked, but the windows were left in the "down" position, making the interior of the vehicle accessible.  The student provided no further information, and declined to have local police respond.  There was no damage to the vehicle.

While highly intoxicated, a former student entered the college department.  While inside of the department, the former student made several false accusations regarding the employees of the department and the county (Maricopa).  Police were summoned, due to the possibility that the former student may be the driver of a motor vehicle.  The former student left the building, entered her vehicle and drove away.  The police did not respond.  they were advised of the vehicle's description.
