Synopsis of Incident

While inside of the Bookstore, known student removed two text books from the shelves, concealing same inside of her book bag. Prior to exiting the Bookstore, the manager demanded the student remove the books from her book bag. Known student removed the textbooks, placing same on the counter. Student attempted to pay for the textbooks with another person's credit card. Known student left the bookstore. Textbooks were returned to the shelves.

Synopsis of Incident

Person(s) unknown took without permission one Rio Salado cup, from the general area of the Carson Conference room. this property was new and had not been assigned to an employee. The person concealed the item inside of the janitor's closet, inside of a brown paper bag. Item was recovered and returned to the department lead.

Incident Date: 06/17/2013

Synopsis of Incident:

An irate student called the bookstore manager in a hostile manner. The student was upset that his daughter had not received a full refund for books. The student owned the books and had sent his daughter. The student was loud and disrespectful. After informing the bookstore manager that he was on the way down to the bookstore, the manager contacted Public Safety. Public Safety notified the Tempe Police Department to have an officer stand-by. When the student arrived, he continued his belligerent attitude. The student was told of the bookstore policy. After receiving written notice of the policy, he left the building. While leaving the building, he continued to berate the Tempe Police officer until the student had conversed with the Tempe Police Officer’s supervisor. He left the college property without further incident.

Unknown person(s) entered the roof of Building 621 without permission.  While on the roof, the unknown persons attempted to remove the cooper from the air conditioning unit.  This caused the malfunctioning of the air conditioning unit.
